Human Soundscapes: FoST 2018

An exhibition of Gunn's musical portraits at Future of Storytelling Summit 2018. Works were projected inside a 360 degree dome with 3D sound.

Acclaimed composer and audiovisual artist, Gary Gunn, explores uncharted territory by sitting one on one with an eclectic mix of subjects in a pursuit to interpret their inner essence into personalized soundscapes. These intimate and candid encounters are filmed by Gunn, then later married with the corresponding soundtrack to create a single audiovisual work depicting each subject; spawning creations that are unparalleled in traditional portraiture. Gunn's work allows us to revel in awe of the impermanent human form while urging us to go deep into the abstract, beyond the constraints of the thinking mind and limitations of the physical form.
